Per Aage Pedersen is a Norwegian composer, musician, audio lover and music teacher from Oslo.

I write classical music in the style of modernism. My influence is strongly founded in west European composition tradition, both Italian and French modernism and German avantgardism. In the last years I have also been working with other genres.

My background is from metal and rock bands in my teens and later classical music. I began playing the classical guitar when I was 15, and have my education in classical guitar and composition from The Norwegian Academy of Music. I studied the guitar under Geir-Otto Nilson and Sven Lundestad, and composition under Asbjørn Schaathun and Bjørn Kruse.
